Our spectacular venue spans two full city blocks and towers over 300 feet above
the Civic Center national historic district. City Hall has been the home of parties
thrown for presidents, politicians, dignitaries, and celebrities. On NYE 2010, it’ll
be the home to the glitziest NYE gala in SF.

Andy Caldwell - Los Angeles-based Andy Caldwell wears many guises: Songwriter, producer, classically trained pianist and trumpeter, remixer, DJ and label owner (of the recently re-launched Uno Recordings). The journey of his 14-year and counting recording career has brought many accolades and honors, from writing Grammy nominated songs and sharing stages with legends like James Brown to making the tunes of choice for countless top DJs worldwide. David Harness - David Harness is one of the most popular DJ/producers in the San Francisco Bay Area club scene. He has been described as "a man who lives, breathes and emanates everything that is beautiful about deep house music and classic garage." In addition to DJ residencies and a career spanning 14+ years, David has established himself as a respected producer and remixer. To date, David has worked on projects featuring artists such as Mary J. Blige, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Simply Red, Alicia Keys, Floetry, Donnie McClurkin, India Arie, *NSYNC and Donnell Jones. A collaborative effort with DJ/producers Chris Lum of Abitare Music, Jay J of Moulton Studios, and Charles Spencer of LoveSlap has resulted in several independent releases. |

Fred Everything - Canadian DJ/Producer Fred Everything Is A Key Player In The World Of House Music And With 12 Years In The Music Business And Over 100 Productions To His Credit, He Shows No Signs Of Stopping. Born In Hull And Raised In Quebec City, Fred Got The Early Bug For Electronic Music In High School. He Formed A Few Bands While Spending His Weekends As One Of The Youngest In Local Nightclubs. What type on an event is this? This one of a kind upscale New Years Ball is for all those looking for a fun & safe New Year's eve party. Whether you're from out of town or just around the corner, come experience for yourself the exciting & diverse mix of music and culture at the most elegant venue in San Francisco!
What does my ticket include? There are 2 types of tickets your can purchase:
General Admission: - Open Bar from 8p to 9p for well drinks - Access to 3 different areas inside the event with Mash-Up and House music
VIP Open Bar Admission: - Everything from the General Admission ticket PLUS... - Premium Open Bar all night inside the VIP section in the South Light Court - All your beverages (please remember to tip, though!) - Access to all the areas inside the event with a mix format of hiphop/house/mashup/top 40 as the main sound in the VIP area.
What are the event hours? Event begins at 8pm and ends a little before 2am.
What type of premium alcohol are being served for VIP Admission? Premium vodka: Ketal One or Belvedere or Grey Goose Premium cognac: Hennessey VS Premium tequila: Don Julio or Patron
How do I pickup my tickets? Please bring your ID, order #, credit card used for purchase, and a copy of the confirmation email that was sent to the email address you provided. If you received the ticket as a gift, please bring a photocopy of the purchaser's id to retrieve your tickets. Remember that only the PURCHASER can pickup tickets.
I ordered my ticket online, where do I pick up my tix? Your tickets will be held at our WILL-CALL station on the afternoon and the night of the event. Here is the schedule... - 12/31 from 2:30pm to 5pm (pick up will be on the Van Ness Street Entrance) - 12/31 from 8pm to 1am (pick up will be on the Goodlet Street entrance at the Will-Call station) * Additional time/date and location will be announced for ticket pickup as we get closer to the event date.
How does Will-Call work? Our Will Call process is similar to that of a concert or play. Only the person who placed the order should enter the will call line to pick up the tickets for you and/or your group. After the ticket have been picked up, your group may enter through the general entry line.
I already have my presale ticket, do I need to wait in line? If you already have your presale ticket, you will not need to wait in the will-call line. Please enter through our "General Admission" or "VIP Admission" line with your presale ticket.
Will tickets be available at the door? We expect for this event to sell out before the date of the event, so tickets may not be available at the door. We strongly encourage purchasing tickets ahead of time.
Will there be a coat check available? Yes, coat check will be available for a small fee.
What kind of music will be played? There will be multiple rooms of music playing a mix of mash-up, house, hiphop, and top 40 hits.
Will there be general seating at the event? General seating is available, will be limited to first come first serve.
Where do I enter the party from? The entrance to the party will be at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlet Place. - view map -
Where do I park? There are several parking garages in the area. Please make sure you check the closing time of your parking lot. (see list on the left of the website)
What is the dress code? Semi-Formal event - black tie optional. (Please follow the dress code. NO REFUNDS will be given for those not in dress code.)
What is the age restriction? This event is for the 21 and over only.
Valid ID is required for entry Will there be smoking allowed? There will be an outdoors smoking section provided for our guests. No smoking will be permitted inside the facility - those who break this law will be escorted off the premises immediately
